Will duties continue on Chinese made bedroom furniture?

As many in the industry now know, the U.S. International Trade Commission is about to undertake the next five year “Sunset Review” on duties for Chinese-made bedroom furniture.

These duties, assigned to the manufacturer but paid by importers of record, aim to offset the effects of unfairly priced goods on U.S. bedroom producers. This process, which will include a Nov. 10 hearing at the ITC in Washington, will determine whether these duties will continue moving forward.
